Games Like Dumb Ways to Build: PEAK, BOMBANANA! & More
Dumb Ways to Build sits in what Dot Esports calls friendslop: low-price games that friend groups pick up for a Discord session. People searching for it also search for PEAK and How to Fish, and a player on the Steam forum held up Big Walk as the co-op game to beat. Prices and review scores below are from Steam on 11 September 2026.

PEAK
A co-op climbing game from Team PEAK: a group of lost nature scouts has to climb the mountain in the middle of an island to be rescued, and the smallest mistake can end the run. It shares Dumb Ways to Build’s price and its climb-together-or-fall structure, and it is the game most often searched alongside it.
BOMBANANA!
A three-player co-op bomb-defusal game by Lefto Studio: each player is a monkey who is blind, deaf or mute and holds only part of the information needed. PlaySide bundled it with Dumb Ways to Build on launch day as the DUMBANANA! Bundle, which takes an extra 10% off both. Details are on the price page.
How to Fish
A 1-4 player physics-based fishing game by Dazed Games: you crash onto a small island and have to learn to fish your way home. Dot Esports reported it sold a million copies in its first two days. It has the same player count and price as Dumb Ways to Build and the same kind of physics slapstick.
Big Walk
A co-operative online walker-talker from House House, the studio behind Untitled Goose Game. It costs more and is calmer, but a player asking for a bigger lobby in Dumb Ways to Build pointed to Big Walk as a game that stays fun with more than four people. It supports cross-platform play.
Dumb Ways to Party
The next game from the same team, due in 2026: a competitive party game for up to four players, with split-screen listed on Steam. If your group wants Beans but not building, it is the one to wishlist. The whole series is on the Dumb Ways to Die games page.
What makes Dumb Ways to Build different
The others give you a fixed route (a mountain, a bomb, a lake). In Dumb Ways to Build the crew builds the route itself, from planks, chairs and whatever else can be nailed down, across three Crisis Jobs. It is also the only one here with a Solo Play mode that changes the rules for one player; see Solo Play.
